At Linchfield Community Primary School, the school gates will open at 8:35am and close at 8.45am. The children make their way straight into school, put their personal belongings away and then enter their classroom where they are greeted by their class teacher. The register will be taken at 8.45am.
Lessons begin promptly after registration and it is important that lessons are not disrupted by late arrivals as children who are late miss important introductions to lessons.
All children in KS1 and KS2 have a 20 minute morning break. Our Early Years children don’t have an official breaktime as they have access to the continued outdoor provision throughout the day. All children have a lunch break between 12pm and 1pm.
At the end of the school day, EYFS & Year 1 parents collect their children from their child's classroom and Years 2 - 6 parents collect their children from the playground.
In the event of a closure we will notify you via ParentMail, Facebook and the school website.
