We are extremely proud of our school uniform and the sense of unity and belonging that it brings. the school uniform is as follows:
Uniform: Green sweatshirt/cardigan, white polo shirt, grey trousers/ tailored shorts/skirt/pinafore, plain grey/white socks/tights. During the summer months green and white checked summer dresses can be worn.
Shoes: Black school shoes must be worn all year. We request that sandals and canvas shoes are not worn, to prevent unnecessary playground accidents. Trainers and boots are not part of our school uniform and must not be worn to school.
P.E: Green t-shirt, black shorts/jogging bottoms and a pair of trainers. A warm sweater will be needed for the colder months of the year.
Please ensure that all items of clothing, PE bags, lunchboxes, water bottles etc are clearly labelled with your child’s name so that if items get muddled up or lost we can return them to the correct children.
Jewellery presents a health and safety risk during the school day. As such we request that children do not wear jewellery to school unless there is a medical reason. Children should only wear one pair of stud earrings in their ears and they must be able to take their own earrings out and put them back in again as they need to be removed for PE lessons. Teachers are no longer allowed to help children remove or insert earrings, nor are they allowed to put tape over their earrings for PE.
We request that pupils have their ears pierced during the first weeks of the Summer Holidays so that they are able to remove ear rings upon their return to school.
Hair Accessories: Long hair should be tied back neatly for school. Small, school coloured hair accessories may be worn but large bows and brightly coloured accessories are not part of our school uniform.
Make up and nail varnish should not be worn to school.
We appreciate that sometimes logo uniform can be expensive so we researched thoroughly before choosing our supplier. Plain uniform items without a logo can also be worn. We have a range of pre-loved uniform for sale in school. If you have any concerns about providing your child with full school uniform, please contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in this very important aspect of school life.
